Thank You for Sharing Your Ideas About the Future of Downtown

Over the past three years, the City provided many opportunities for the community to participate and share input throughout the Downtown Specific Plan process. Your feedback helped shape a plan that reflects the community’s shared vision for a vibrant and thriving downtown.

Community engagement opportunities included:

• Signing up for project updates

• Attending community workshops and other events

• Participating in surveys

• Attending Downtown Advisory Committee (DTAC) meetings: The DTAC, an 18-member advisory committee appointed by the City Council on May 25, 2022, represented a wide range of interests within the Downtown Specific Plan area and provided valuable input throughout the project timeline. In addition, the project team conducted ongoing outreach and received input from property owners, the business community, the Chamber of Commerce, community groups, and many others.
